Orchards Children's Services' Independent Living Program is
designed to meet the needs of foster care youth, beginning at
the age of sixteen years, while supporting them in their
transition to independence and adulthood. Potential
Independent Living providers are approved, unlicensed adults who
can be single or married. Potential providers will be
subject to a home assessment, criminal background checks and
central registry checks.
