POSITION: Director of Information Technology

REPORTS TO: Chief Operating Officer

JOB SUMMARY

As Director of Information Technology, you will provide the vision and leadership for all information technology and data security initiatives for Orchards Children’s Services. You will be responsible for operating at a strategic level, working with the administrative team to champion digital transformation initiatives to shape the organization’s strategic agenda and technology roadmap. As Director of IT you will drive results by leading the IT team to deliver technology solutions that meet the needs of the agency and lead day-to-day team problem solving, to ensure exceptional employee and user experience. You will also create and maintain our cyber security strategy and lead development, implementation, and operation of solutions to ensure data privacy and security.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Undergraduate degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or a related field with experience serving as a well-rounded IT expert who is familiar with corporate network-Windows Server and RDS. Working knowledge of Great Plains / Dynamics, SSRS, and Microsoft Business Central.

· Experience implementing best practice strategies to meet and exceed goals through teamwork.

· Demonstrated ability to build highly successful technical operations teams of cloud, security, development, and help desk professionals.

· Possess working knowledge of the industry and demonstrate fluency with innovative operational and security best practices that will drive automated processes across the agency.

· Experience using analytics to guide decision-making processes and utilizing the most effective tools to gather Key Performance Indicators to manage IT services and solutions.

· History of serving in the role of strategic partner with peer organizational leaders and internal stakeholders collaborating on opportunities for IT projects or solutions to meet agency strategic goals.

· Experience owning the vendor management process including sourcing, seeking quotes and requests for proposals, negotiating, evaluating, and selecting vendors, and maintaining relationships that deliver results.

· Align with the agency’s mission and core values.

 Job Type: Full-time

Job Pay: $85,000 to $100,000
