Carmen M. McIntyre León, M.D. is the Associate Chair, Community Affairs for the Wayne State University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, Director of the Public and Community Psychiatry Fellowship, and the Interim Chair for Neurosurgery.
She also serves as the Chief Medical Officer for the Michigan Department of Corrections. She has 35 years of experience in research, clinical, teaching and leadership positions in public and community mental health; as well as public policy and health leadership positions in corrections.
