Young Adult Programs

Youth Empowerment: Branches of Independence

At Orchards, our commitment to a child’s success does not end on their 18th birthday. We believe that every young person deserves a sturdy branch of support as they grow into their own. Our Young Adult Programs provide the stability, financial aid, and life-skills coaching necessary to move from the foster care system into a successful, self-sufficient adulthood.

Navigating Your Future: Youth in Transition (YIT)

Bettey’s Story:
From Foster Care to Social Work

Bettey came to Orchards at age three. She grew up knowing that while she was not with her biological family, she gained a new one at Orchards. With the support of the Promise Scholarship, Bettey is now pursuing higher education in social work.

“Orchards is the light and a safe place where you can become the best person you can be.” — Bettey
