Family Reunification Program
Serving 15 Michigan Counties
Family Reunification Program services are available to families with child(ren) residing in out-of-home placement due to abuse or neglect who may be returned to the permanent family with intensive services. The Family Reunification Program is an aftercare, in-home, and family education program designed to provide families with tools to maintain children in the home following reunification from foster care, which is able to occur at a faster rate with the services in place. Family Reunification has a large scope of services that include: assessment, family and/or recreational activities, 24-hour service availability, specific assistance for families, in-home services, and transportation services. Services are provided to families for 4 months with a possible 2-month extension.
