Nicole has worked to better behavioral health in Oakland County, where she served as Clinical Analyst and Director, and later as the Deputy Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer of the Oakland Community Health Network.
Most recently, Nicole served as the National Director of Behavioral Health for Valor Healthcare overseeing 50 primary care clinics in 16 states, serving over 150,000 veterans. At Valor Healthcare, she also served as Chair of the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council. Nicole demonstrates strong leadership skills and excels at strategic planning and implementation, operational excellence, team leadership and development, and vision setting.
“Orchards’ mission is very personal to me. My husband and I were foster parents and are adoptive parents to two children. I am very humbled to be joining such a dynamic agency,” Nicole says. “I’m excited to meet with staff and supporters and become part of such a dedicated and caring team.”

Troy Kulick joined Orchards Children’s Services in April 2021. He oversees all aspects of the organization’s finances, including the development and management of strategic investments, preparation of financial statements and reporting to Orchard’s Board of Directors. Troy brings over 20 years of financial leadership experience, with a focus on developing diverse talent and high performing teams while providing strategic insight and direction.
Prior to joining the Orchards, Troy served as the Vice President of International Finance and Operational Excellence for Domino’s Pizza Inc., the largest pizza company in the world. He holds an MBA from the Broad Graduate School of Business at Michigan State University and is a certified public accountant.
Troy is passionate about having a transformational impact in supporting the organization’s mission and serving the children, families and communities the agency supports.

Rosa holds a master’s degree in psychology with a certification in Neuropsychology and Integration of Health care. She has over 30 years of experience in the mental health field, including clinical, quality, administrative, and executive leadership. She also has extensive experience with program evaluation, implementation, and management including the development of policies and procedures impacting children and adults. Rosa has worked within the Michigan publicly funded mental health system and the Federally Qualified Health Center primary care system.
She has published research and successfully implemented sustainable evidence-based practices and quality strategies. These include qualitative and compliance audits, population health, data analytics, integration of health care initiatives, training in mental health topics and the implementation of the Michigan Crisis and Access Line (MiCAL).
She has been appointed by Governor Whitmer to the School Safety and Mental Health Committee and has participated in several workgroups at the state and local level focused on the health and wellbeing of children and families. Some of these groups include the Children’s Directors, Performance Improvement System of Care, Quality Committee, Change Agent, and Co-Occurring workgroups. In addition, she has managed several grants focused on service delivery as well as business and operational infrastructure such as healthcare integration, establishment of technology-based recovery, innovation of care, and the implementation of evidence-based practices.

Lisa began her career in social work at Orchards in 1987, where she passionately advocated for children and families in direct service roles for many years. In 2002, she transitioned to focus on quality assurance and compliance, playing a key role in the agency’s licensing and accreditation efforts. For over 20 years, Lisa has led the national accreditation process with the Council on Accreditation. Her dedication to employee advocacy eventually led her to Human Resources, where she aims to make Orchards an exemplary workplace. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University.
